Kulara Water’s corporate strategy is based on the 3 fundamental pillars of sustainable development and is expressed daily through numerous commitments, initiatives, and programs focusing on Leadership, Quality, Innovation, Resource protection, Carbon footprint reduction, Employee well-being, and Community development. The green leadership of the company is recognized through its ambitious reforestation program initiated in 2018 in partnership with the Archaeology & Development Foundation (ADF). This program combines the reintroduction of endangered species of trees and concrete actions to raise awareness among the younger generations about resource protection. To date, more than 100,000 rare trees have been planted on Kulara Water’s protected land and also in the Kulen Mountains’ conservation zones. The company has also just taken another step forward with the launch of its hybrid solar power plant (a 650 kWp ground- mounted solar system connected to an 896 kWh battery system), among the first of its kind in Cambodia.
